Cmmg wasp dedicated .22lr

Ordered a CMMG .22 lr upper tonight from Botach. They are having a great blow-out sale on them.

I don't have a BB on mine, But I also don't run a buffer or spring as well as having the better mag adapter in my lower to run 15-22 mags. So If I had any any intention of putting another upper on it would take some work. And of course I don't ever intend too but just in case I may fill my buffer tube permanently to not have any confusion.

Bottom line, if your running a .22 lr rimfire upper you do not need a bullet button on your lower regardless if you have any .22 lr specific modifications or not.

There is no constructive possession laws about uppers/lowers like there is about SBRs.

Now i ordered the Better-mag Adapter. Now need the S&W mags....then the Taccom stuff ,,,,sheese!

I think midway has the ten rounder in the long body for $20 and the short ten rounders too

i don't run a buffer spring on my ST-22...no need to nor does it have a BB.

ST-22 was purchased legally here in california by me.

I think there are "dedicatated" lowers. Instead of saying "multi" they say .22 Cal. (thus dedicated) Some one was showing them on here....cant remember who.

Some are marked that way, but since a lower marked ".22 LR" can be equipped with a centerfire upper receiver, the caliber markings have no legal significance.

Is a BB required on an AR if it has a 22lr conversion kit installed instead of a dedicated .22lr upper?

Staticsouls...did you ever order all the Taccom parts? Or have you just been shooting "as is".
Reason i ask is i received all the Taccom parts today and i dont know how to install all that stuff! Dont even have the tools to do it.
Of coarse i could install the buffer plug, but not all that other stuff.
If you are having zero problems shooting it the way it came (your dedicated CMMG upper) i think im going to run mine that way.

No I haven't gotten any of taccom parts yet but I will probably order it soon.

The version I got doesn't have a front sight so I used a center point rimfire scope at the range and had no problems getting it zeroed in. I would say try it as is, but if you have a bore sighter, like a cheap universal one, bring it and save some ammo. I'll keep you posted on the taccom parts as I get them although I may just start with the buffer plug since I didn't experience any issues in reliability.
