You don't even have to order eight of them. I just stocked up. That's under $14 delivered for new cans.

The .50 cans are awesome for storing bulk ammo. Of course, they get a little heavy...

Bass Pro is selling them for $10 each on Black Friday again. The Manteca store still had hundreds in stock at 10am when the sale ended last year. Of course, they were limiting each customer to 10 cans, and had them packaged in boxes of 12...

Glad to hear it. I grabbed another eight - with $10 off+shipped free it was a steal. I think I can unpack all my 8mm, and shotgun shells now and store them in cans, might even dedicate a few to .22 - anything not already in a bucket.

With the 2700 rounds that I purchased online this week that will leave me at about 7500 rds total. I'll probably stop now and just buy when I see it at stores until I get down around 5000 or so. Next I need to get a 22/45 to go with my 10/22 so I can have some fun with the ammo.

I suck, I'm only at 13,000 rds of 40 grn RN. Mini Mags, Super X, Game Shock. That's in the past 6 months! Won't stop if there's a deal.

                Sounds good to me.

I wouldn't mind more of those Federal HV jacketed 40 gr round nosed gameshocks - I got one brick untested, but I'd take a gamble that they are going to work great.

Not just ammo but mags too! I would like 2000 rounds loaded (I got a long way to go). They don't take up too much space in the factory 10/22 rotary mags.

Once I get a 22lr ar15 upper, I'll be in the market for more mags

                  Probably never stop buying both.

I only have about 1200 loaded.

Is it bad for the drums to stay loaded for long periods of time?

It didn't start out like that?

How insightful of you to notice, especially when the very first post stated let's see pics of your ammo stash. Didn't take long? Yeah I'd say 0 seconds is not long at all.

I would not know. They don't stay loaded for more than a week before they are used again.
