You need to locate and buy a Ruger BX-25 magazine.

Before spending a lot of money on things that won't make you a better shot, get Tech or Skinner sights, a 20 usgi sling and take an Appleseed class. Don't waste your money till you do that. At least I think that is the best way to go. Many folks want to,spend money making it look cool. For $100 saved on stuff ou can take the Appleseed class.

But what do I know. I'm no longer young.

I think Thor's hammer was an 45-70 lever action loaded with Garrett cartridges.

With factory barrel and bulk ammo, you 10-22 is capable of shooting 1" groups at 25 yards. Till you can reliably do that, I don't think you need to,spend money on upgrades.

Oh I agree with you. I'm just trying to find out ideas for gifts and things I should buy if I find them on sale. I don't want to be the person that is waiting 12 months to get something they have wanted for a while and they never jumped on it forcing them to wait.

I'm in the same boat. Have my BNIB Ruger 10-22. I know I want to customize it to my needs, but where to begin...

              In no particular order:

              Appleseed
              .920 Bull Barrel
              Hogue Overmold Stock
Nice scope (Weaver, Nikon, or Mueller) .

              Hope this helps...

Since we're sporing pix of our 10/22's... I love mine, very well balanced too.
