By the way guys, I hold a General Class Amateur Radio License and have a very nice station. I don't advertise it because my callsign directly links to my real name.

The NSA knows enough without me volunteering information. This ammo buying is keeping me from my radio because there isn't room for this beast of a computer in the shack, yet. I have a laptop in there, but it's just not the same.

It's all good though. The bands are very noisy with lightening static, at least they were last night at 3:00 AM. If any of you are on 10-160 meters...I'm there a lot.

I'd love to buy a Heritage for $129, but not legal here in MN. There's a law against "low quality" alloys in guns that will melt below 800 degrees. What are the odds of firing a single action .22 fast enough to heat it to 800 degrees? Ironic that a gun is legal in CA and not MN.

all the ads I have seen clearly state the boxes are empty, but I guess that there are some people stupid enough to over think something like that...

I bought and sold antique/vintage shotgun shell boxes on ebay a few years ago.
That was kind of the wink wink deal for some people.
You would get (or send) an email from them off the ebay system regarding if the box had the originals in it.
Sometimes a box would just show up with the originals.
Usually it didn't.
I doubt these modern plastic .22 boxes are getting purchased by people thinking they are wink wink full without trying to contact the seller first.
But you never know.
You could put a couple up for bid and a couple more after you know the buyer has them in hand and see if same guy bids again knowing they are empty.
Or just contact them on ebay and ask them.
