New to the forums - and have loved getting a new perspective on how to better approach the great 22lr ammo search ...

Anyway, I was inspired by a recent post to look for 22lr green tracer rounds and found what seems like a decent deal at J&G Sales.

                $19.95/50 - I ordered 4 boxes and the shipping remained a flat $9.95.

I believe that tracer rounds are considered incendiary and thus, are illegal to own, possess, or use in CA.

Dagnabbit. I didn't think about likely California restrictions. (I live outside the People's Republic). I guess I just got sucked in to the national appeal this fine forum has garnered.

                      My bad.

BTW Congrats to you guys and gals on the recent U.S. 9th Circuit Court ruling!

Yeah, J&G always has cool stuff, but not for us in PRK.

Never really saw much point in .22 tracers. You can't use them at any range that i know of, and if you're out in the sticks somewhere you have to worry about setting the woods on fire. We shot some when I was a kid and they didn't seem very bright anyway. I think I'd rather shoot and then set off some fireworks, rather than trying to combine the two.

Actually, I was thinking about using them to actually shoot off the fireworks. A helluva lot more challenging than your traditional "punk" or Bic lighter.
