Yes. I have some and I shoot it at both Burro Canyon and Lytle Creek.

Here's the thing though. Neither one will let you shoot it in the summer months. When the weather is dry there is too much of a chance that a spark could start a fire. They will let you shoot it after a good rain and most of the winter; so long as it has rained in the last couple of weeks.

$240 for 1000 is a steal! It just sucks you are limited to where you can shoot. Most indoor ranges won't allow this ammo too it sucks I don't know why not. Deciding whether to buy...

I buckled down and bought a brick of 1k of tula .223 for 240. To good of a deal to pass up.

That's a pretty good deal for Russian stuff about now. I was getting Herter's for $4.99+ $5 shipping from Cabela's but the price went up.

With the $20 off code it is $4.90 per box delivered for this deal and you don't have to order 200 at a time.

Any other 03 FFL holders with dealer account on Midway notice that the $20 off coupon code which almost wipes out the $24 shipping fee does not apply to dealers? Yup, dealers are not able to use the codes.

Maybe creating a new account will work around this. I just got dealer status there, and it is the first thing I have wanted to order from Midway in a while. It figures.

Yup, I missed it. The Midway USA dealer prices were always within pennies on the items I noticed. For those sites that offer real discounts, they are worth it.

Brownells, Grafs, Century, etc... AR-15 parts? How about Surplus Ammo's wholesale site where you can get Stripped uppers for $65, LPK's for $48, or COMPLETE lowers for $150? Funny that it is better to be a retail customer at Midway, but whatever.

I will have to switch the account back to retail. They could have mentioned that in the numerous emails it took to get the switch to dealer account done finally.


** in the mean time I had placed an order under a new account at Midway to get the deal with $20 off code, and as soon as I put in the same billing address as my dealer account the order went on HOLD. They do seem to have a much smarter system at catching dupe orders and accounts etc... than Cabela's... anyway, this morning it went though and is processing, so for $245 delivered on that TULA I am happy. Thanks for posting it.
