The blessings I experience every day are far better than the wrath I deserve.
Thankfully, there is no such thing as karma.
Proof being that if it did exist we would all most assuredly be dead

Yes, some forum participants can't keep secrets.
Piranha are coming into the pond (re: Facbook page).
Load up fellas before the pond runs dry and we will need to find another fishing hole.
My Grandfather always closely guarded his fishing spot and he caught some trophies there through the years. He always elaborated on the old saying "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day" but his version always went like this when we showed off his catch at our local Bait Shop/Coffee & Bull**** place.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, which you can continue to do at your leisure, Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life and company can be welcome at times while doing so, but Teach several men to fish and then 2's company but 3's a crowd and now my pond is overfished and I'm hungry & bored again"
Grandpa would always trade off some of his catches to the bait shop to be mounted there on the wall with his picture and name next to it. Grandma had put a stop to mounting more in the house before I was born, but Grandpa would always trade out bigger ones at his home for ones that were bigger or the ones he caught with us kids. God bless him.
As Ron Swanson says "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, I say don't give him the fish, feed yourself, he's a grown man and fishing isn't that hard"
I feel we're on a path of too many sites know the good fishing hole and how to use the "Lures" to snag that "trophy" we've all been after..
Facts are to liberals as kryptonite is to Superman.

Feed a man a fish, he eats for a day (Democrat).
Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime (Republican).Comment

Really, we went into the Facebook group and ran a disinformation campaign!

That picture is epic.
Me and my old fishing buddy used to have people watching us to see where we were fishing.
We would slip fish in the bucket we were sitting on as fast as we could.
"doing any good", "no, man its really slow today"
"is your bucket making noise?", "no I just have bad gas"
We werent sneaky enough a couple of time and had similar results to this picture.
One of the little ponds we fished wasnt a heck of a lot bigger than this in the summer when the water got low.Last edited by Shorthair; 03-03-2014, 12:03 PM.karma ?

It was only a matter of time before the links started showing up in places like that. All the more reason the noobs that come here should which lately has been alot should read back a couple hundred posts and figure out how to do. Instead we sit here and hold there hand and show them how. Meanwhile they run back to their Facebook buddies telling them what the deal is.Comment
