Depends on your computer. I just run the two from cabela, and the one from Midway. I'm going to try the GM rimfire page tonight to see if Disconnect fixes the lag or not.

As an ex webmaster of a rather large site, anyone who is big is smart enough to have connection throttling set per IP address. Meaning a single user can only make X amount of connections per minute... So by using a script that checks every 5 minutes, isnt going to bring the server down. What would bring the server down is if it isnt hosted in an environment that can handle the connections per IP setting X the number of users, and in that case its a configuration error on their part being a large site and all.

Wrong. Ip rate limiting on enterprise websites occurs at the firewall not server. Also since finds are often oos before someone posts here having your own monitoring setup is useful. If you're not technical don't post FUD about technical things.

no one said IP rate limiting occurs at the server, it can be either depending on the setup. But regardless this guy doesnt understand it well enough to make comments like that.

Finally got my Cablela's card! whoo hoo! Of course all the Blazer is sold out...

Anybody have any luck getting back what they "over paid" on shipping while waiting for the card to show up? Thought I remembered somebody saying they did... but I'm afraid to call CS!

of coarse it is, one of the members got mad that we were teaching others how to monitor their favorite ammo for availability. He made an un-educated statement while referring to what we were teaching as stupidity.

Naturally it got a little off topic to enlighten him to the fact he was the pot calling the kettle black.
