Works well...

I did some tinkering the last few days and this is what I set up:
Install it, and it adds a bell icon to your addon bar. You go to the page you want, click that bell, click select elements, then highlight the part of the page to monitor (such as the sold out fields) and it checks that page at the interval you set and alerts when anything changes. I use FF portable and GM brings it to a freeze every time it checks, but Cabela's and Midway work fine. For midway I monitor the page of rimfire filtered for in stock or backorder ok (http://www.midwayusa.com/find?sortby...earchscope=all). For Cabela's I have one page set to monitor the add products link (http://www.cabelas.com/checkout/retr...067ae093229d2a) and another to monitor the checkout link (https://www.cabelas.com/checkout/begin_checkout.jsp) set them to the same interval, turn off the alert for the add product link and you will get an alert if anything stays in your cart for checkout. Click suspend checks before you try to check out though since it will mess up your cart if it runs the add product link while you are checking out.Up for rent...Comment

you install it, then open each url that you want to track, click the track icon in the toolbar. Then once you have added all the urls you want to track, go into chrome settings, on left click extensions, then click options under the Page Monitor Extension.
you will now see a list of each page you added, under each one click advanced, then put a check mark next to "Custom Mode" the buttons will then activate, click the "Pick" button. This will take you to the page your are monitoring, click on whichever element you want to monitor for a change, for instance "Out of Stock". Last click the done button in bottom right.
Repeat for each url you are monitoring.... you do not have to have tabs open for this to work, but I highly suggest modifying the check interval to something like 5 minutes.
If you configure the options to play a sound, then it will every time a change is detected.Comment
