It's funny, I have enough 22lr for a while and I still get upset when a small amount gets canceled. I hope I'm not getting anything that is contagious in this forum lol. Thanks to this thread though, I have had very good luck with ammo. I'm glad I have been able to pass on what I have got to some people who really needed it, such as scout leaders. Gotta keep the younger generation shooting.

I'm not even going to pretend that I know why TCM cost more. I know that I see 500 round bricks of Armscor .22 at $23.00 a brick. So, please elaborate and edjumacate.

cabelas has subsonic . 8 cents a round, not bad if you package it out with other stuff.

It's a bottlenecked high velocity centerfire cartridge. Nothing in common with .22 LR other than the ".22." A decent price is more in line with .223 pricing. Check this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.22_TCM

Just picked up 4000 rounds .22lr from another member. CCI AR Tac, Fed Auto Match, SK High Vel.

From this guy... Sure sounds like it based on the brands. Hope you got a better deal.

An Improvement(I guess)

Hey guys--first post, but I've been lurking for a few weeks. I wanted to join so I could actually share something with LH, since he's helped me score some ammo between his postings at the S&W forums & here. Thanks, LH!

I ordered 2 of the new 300 packs from Natchezss last week & they arrived last night. They are as you expect. (3) 100 count sliders. Fit perfectly in my ammo cans. Much neater than the 375 boxes. Hope these pics help.

Well I guess having extra's to replace the occasional casualty on my range packs, is a good thing.
(Reuse for bulk boxes.)

I take it the cardboard standoffs hold them up high enough so the projectile doesn't touch bottom.
Still, not much in the way of protection if the box is handled rough in shipping.
(Case sales would be the safest way to go.)

While the complete slider would be best(& a Bonus), I can see the reasoning...
As long as they pass the savings along, I can live with that
At least it's a step up from being thrown together in a bulk box.

lol- ive seen this ad up forever- sounds like the guy bought this crap back when no one would touch the ammo. i remember seeing this in stock during the scare. desperate times calls for desperate means to buy anything..

Lot's of things are prohibited, but that doesn't stop people from doing them. Selling ammo on CL is a cat and mouse game. Usually the ads are up long enough for people to bite. Or you can just use backpage...
