Bucket O is a tough one. If it hits Gander it will be gone in 30 minutes or less whether you heard about it right when they posted it or not. Almost impossible.

Cabela's has a much better price and the limit keeps it alive a while longer. Cabela's is the best price for someone looking for sub .05 cheap bulk stuff that works. Cabela's GB 525 pack is almost as good, and you can order it a few times paying $5 shipping on each order and they almost always ship all the dupe orders.

It is random luck, persistence, and being here at the right time. I don't know how to find the deal before it hits here other than luck being on THAT seller's page GUN WIKI, SLICKGUNS, or some other second-hand source... saving the "BUCKET O" shortcut to Cabela's or the "REM GB 525 pack" link to your desktop and going there like an obsessed freak? That still won't work most of the time.

Some people get lucky, and persistent people have no life AND make a game out of it or sport so they actually enjoy it.

There's guys out there who don't even post who are STACKING bricks in the walk-in gun safe right now I am sure.

Our best bet is this network of people having dumb luck and persistence posting the deals.

I've been getting email notifications at Midway that I set up ages ago and they've actually been arriving in time to order the ammo. Like they had Velocitor the other day for a while. (No, I didn't post it, it was the morning after "I'm on Calguns just to sell things" was complaining about this thread and I don't see any reason to give him more things to flip.)

But point being I think it's worth doing email notifications again.

Yeah I have had good luck with Midways email notifications too. For months and months I would get them and the items would be OOS literally a 30 seconds later.

Don't worry about the trolls and D-bags on here, your always going to get that on internet forums. Post ammo deals for us contributors.

Hopefully today is a good day for ammo scores, middle of the week I always get something.
