Edit---They just now changed the status in my order history to, shipped, but no email to confirm that yet.

My order of CCIs from Cabelas now shows shipped. No email confirmation though.

Cab's site order check provided UPS tracking number. GTG. Thought they were going to cancel my order.

They cancel orders that people place in excess of the 1 box per day limit. Those canceled orders become "in stock" again and are either used to fill back orders or are sold again (usually in a matter of minutes). And then then the process continues.

My Federal and Remington GB's from yesterday shipped today and my GB's from this morning says in stock and In Process.

Pardon the ignorance, but can this link be repeatedly used to show what's in stock for that day? Out of curiosity I searched for the 525 on its own and it showed out of stock.

Worked for me btw, $.057/rd after shipping.

As far as we can tell the auto cart link loads the cart and when you checkout it checks inventory and if it is in stock it allows you to purchase it. It seems the main site doesn't update so you can't load your cart from there.

Many times I've seen the cart link work without it showing in stock on the main site...and when it finally goes live it sells out in a minute or two.

I'm confused why these never go live to the public and they are in stock because my Federal and Remington from yesterday shipped today.

I was thinking it was a glitch but it isn't...

Also, people click the link and wow...I gotta remove all this junk...by then we buy the ammo that is in stock, that happened to me on my first day, missed the Rem 1400 GB's bucket by trying to figure it out.

We're not cheating the system, it is designed that way. Cabela's allows you to email your cart to a friend so they can buy it...benefits Cabela's...but if you email it to yourself you can auto load the cart before it shows in stock.

Now, they could "fix" the main site to be in sync with the inventory system, then you'll have a free for all, nation wide!

We like it like it is.

With the number of "window shopping" hits the Cabelas site gets, its no suprise that it looks at a database that is segmented from the actual in stock db. From a design stand point its pretty good and efficient.

Anyone know when Cabela's clock strikes 12 midnight? I'm guessing the limit is one per day? I don't want to chance it with multiple orders on the same account and get it cancelled.

For the people that don't mind paying .10 rd....just go to the private ammo for sale section in the Calguns market place. I just saw a 'bucket of bullets' (bought for .05 rd) for that amount. Of course, that person came here and scored the deals that others are so diligently posting. But hey...it's a free market. Thanks to everyone that takes the time to post what available deals are out there. Because of these posts...I've been able to set up a very nice shooting trip for my nieces and nephews.

Cabela's is on Mountain time. If you're on the west coast, 11 PM is the new day. I don't think they're 100% consistent, though. Depends on who is looking at the orders.
