Ammo Finds - Post them here

Hmm...mine came this morning and I was impressed that is was shipped in a box within a box, with bubble wrap and the flimsy Winchester box had an extra piece of shipping tape over the flap. No leaks, no breakage. Did you lose any of the ammo or was it all just floating around the outer box?

I put all the ammo that was left in the shipping box back in the original package and it on filled half of one of the m22 inside cartons (the500 pack inside the brick) o well we win some and obviously we loose some.

I think you're talking about me. Sue showed me the link on the 17th...Most of us haven't gotten any ammo in a long time....some been collecting but pretty much go by the rules and then mistakes are made. You run the risk of getting none if you double order.

All in all everyone gets some without standing in line. I owe another thank you to Sue because I have been able to get box or two for friends I shoot with but can't order themself.

Someone said something about updates, we were trying to figure out availability patterns which I think we did a pretty good job.

My prediction is tomorrow around 8-9 AM when they are shipping today's orders a few will pop up for order but they may be canceled too because this is the most risky time to order.

This afternoons orders look like another batch arrived at the warehouse, not shipping/sorting/canceling duplicates re-inventory.

Maybe the 4 boxes of 375 I've got going to Gander will be HIGHLY collectible. I wouldn't mind having one of those M&P 15-22's but the 25 yd indoor ranges I shoot on aren't that great for rifle shooting. Yet the one is always packed w idiots blasting 5.56 AR's at 15 ft.

In case you guys missed my post this am, Cabelas has their small ammo cans on sale again. These are the ones with a gasket that seal pretty nicely. Link is below.

That is small---Inside, 9 1/2 x 4 x 6 1/2 inches---Just for daily use, taking out to the field I guess.

A lot of my friends like them because of their size. 16 slides fit nicely. If you want to plastic bag the larger boxes (individually), you can get quite a bit in the can without making it too heavy for us old farts to move around.

Cabelas had their larger size on sale before Christmas. Maybe they will come up again. If I see it I'll post.

Did anyone else get there m22 and the box was busted open. Mine came in with a hole in the ups box and the entire brick was busted open looks like about half the ammo fell out of the shipping box.

Mine was spilled inside the box. Big mess.

Ignoring price for a moment, Ammofast usually has ample inventory of 22LR. That their inventory appears nearly gone should be a concern for all.
