Walmart Alert:

Walmart in Brea (as of a couple hours ago) had approx 28 mini-bricks of Remington 22lr (qty: 225) on the shelves. In addition, they also had TWO unopened cases of same Remingtons underneath the cash register (of which I wasn't suppose to see). I think there are 48 mini-bricks per case. Plenty of 22lr available there today. They also had plenty of .380, .40 and .45ACP

Walmart in La Puente: As of an hour ago, same 22lr as just mentioned but about 30 mini-bricks. $11.22 per mini-brick at both locations (about five cents per round). They also had an abundance of .45s in 100 packs of both Federal & Winchester.

Go get 'em!

I did a back order with Sportsmans Guide ONCE.
Got suckered into buying the membership to get the best price.
Kept getting emails saying ammo in stock on xxx date.
xxx date comes around and another email saying back in stock xxx date.
Each time about 30 days out.
etc etc etc
I finally cancelled the order 6 months later.
Haven't done business with them since.

When it ships, if it's a backorder item.
Some say their order system is a little antiquated but since there is a real person doing the check of stock,
you don't get banged till it's in house and shipping out.

Been a member for years, if your savvy and hit them when they run specials you can save a ton.
Like the Big C their ship cost is tied to a $ amount.
Usually I wait till they run the Free ship with a gift card or 20 off and a 20 gift card.
Hell, they ran a special for the holiday rush of free ship and a $50 gift card.
Used that for the cheap 54.
Beauty is you can use a code as well as a GC for max savings.

Sign up for the email specials and when they run 1 of their 20/30 GC's for membership, jump on it.
I've always gotten my fee back and then some...

I have gotten quite a bit of ammo from the guide over the last 2 years but only got 22 ammo once which was 15 bricks of automatch maybe 6 months ago, was around 16 a brick. But other then that I have yet to ever see a single round of 22 from them from anny of my back orders.

It's safe to say they are in the back order business and that's about it. I did get a case of 55gr XTAC for 333 shipped maybe 6 weeks ago or so, and I was grateful .

Most recently, they just cancelled the case of 38gr Fiochhi I had on back order saying they are not gonna carry it anymore. I know people who have had 22 on backorder for about 13 months now.

It was probably OOS by the time you were checking out as they had a special sign next to the add button "FREE SHIPPING"
Basically they charge $18.55 a box so it was $1.45 for ship each.

Maybe I took too long checking out?

Considering there was no limit I was sure it was gonna go quick.
I was hoping somebody here would've gotten it.

I promise to try to be faster next time...
