Last night at Discount Gun Mart in San Diego they had 100 rd boxes of CCI MaxiMag 22wmr @ 13.99 a box. A bit pricey but I bought three boxes anyway. Still about 10 boxes left when I went home around 8PM

While I think it's great we have a thread for this at all as we're all having troubles finding ammo, am I alone in thinking that it'd be nice if we split it up some? Like by region, such as a NorCal Ammo thread, a SF Bay Area one, a SoCal one and Online? Or even more specific, if people felt like it? I think it'd be a little more organized and helpful to all members. Just a suggestion.

And just so that you all know I'm participating, for the East Bay/Contra Costa folks, Canyon Sports in Martinez had some 50 round boxes CCI Stingers this past weekend (can buy up to 3 boxes) and Antioch Armory in Antioch had some 50 round bags of Winchester Super-X a couple of weekends back (can buy up to 4 bags).

I agree! There are a few of the local Walmart threads on the Calif Handguns part of CG. I proposed having a separate Forum for Walmart with threads for each Location, but kinda got shot down. Not enough interest.

But, if you started a few threads, the idea just may take off!

I prefer one thread as well. I'm only interested in online in terms of buying, but in terms of getting a sense of if ammo is flowing at all it doesn't really matter where it is.

Can we also keep the discussions out of this thread and keep it to ammo finds only? I keep seeing new posts only to find out it's part of a discussion. Yeah I know this post is guilty of what I just said, but someone had to say it.

Just a suggestion. I like to support local businesses as much as possible so I was hoping to split the posts for that reason, along with further organization but hey, if this works for the majority so be it. Sorry, no other ammo to report at this time. :x

I was at Turner's in Pasadena. They had Wolf Target .22lr in stock, 50 round boxes. $7.99 a box. Not really a great price but at least they had some .22

That's a whole $1 more than it was(at other retailers) just a few months ago, it's actually a pretty reasonable price.
