Large toolboxes at Walmart costs $8.00. I can get 7,200 rounds of .22 (keeping them in their original boxes) per toolbox. A few dessicants per toolbox and life is good..

These were on sale for $7 in December. Bought 10 from Amazon, no freight charges. Each holds about ~4,000 - 5,000 rounds. I mix various brands...my guns aren't picky. These boxes are for target rounds. Match stuff is kept separate and in its original packaging.

Weight adds up, and the smaller the round the faster it adds up. Never tested it with .22, but 9mm in a 50 call can was annoyingly heavy so I sick with 30 cal cans. I put the original boxes in the cans. 22 falls apart too easy imo to be loose in a can.

I've only bought one box of 1,000 M22 in the past few months, but wanted to say this is not the only resource people are finding out about the inventory. Remember you aren't just competing against the members on this board, and if you pass it up its going to someone in Kansas.Give the duration and popularity of this thread, it's pretty clear from posts that one needn't jump on every deal that pops up, because it's evident that there will ALWAYS be another in-stock in a matter of days if not weeks. So, while it's fun to monitor and jump on board, unless you're literally shooting thousands of rounds a week, I think we can all agree that some self-discipline is necessary and that we can take comfort that there will always be another deal to be had, but some patience may be necessary. Sorry, this was written more to justify my own struggles with ammo purchase addiction...Comment
