Hard to say. It seems like on gunbroker an awful lot of .22 goes for about 10 cents/round no matter the quality, and people will pay a premium for mini mags. I'm really surprised by how much people have paid for Remington buckets in the last week or so.Comment

There was a link posted earlier today for individuals and case qtys. 29.99/ea or a small discount for a case purchase. I think the extra price is for the long term storage packaging."I don't work for you!" - Joe Biden

Man, I'm stacked deep with MM's.
I plan on vac sealing, and selling the empty boxes though. Cuts the per round price down and makes more room in the ammo cans.

The supply seems to be getting better BUT the retailers have been making a subtle-yet-permanent upward price adjustment by selling these repackaged bricks by the manufacturers. 235 count Winchester boxes, 800 count M22 boxes, 325 count cans, etc. .22lr is becoming the new 1/2 gallon ice-cream so I'm still buying all I can at good prices. They're dropping from crazy levels, but they are going to be dropping from current MSRP in my opinion...we'll just end up with less ammo for the same $$.

you should have offered to buy the gun from him for 1/2 price... never knowI guy I know was sitting next to me on a bar stool the other night and he was telling me about how he bought a pmr-30 and couldnt find any ammo for it. I apparently I get real generous after a couple beers and I offered to sell him what I had left. Later, thinking about it I think I lost money on the deal. Oh well, need to replenish the stash now. I have the links saved but if anyone sees any 22 mag pop up on gander or wherever for normal retail, don't be shy to post those up. Thanks.

Gunbroker seems to be pretty inconsistent. There are some decent deals being had and others where it is shocking what things went for. This seems to be true of any auction, live or online. Also it is hard to judge the reasoning in the price inconsistencies on g.b. I think some people are brand new sellers so their items don't sell for as much, also some people have very high shipping so the winning bid you see is misleading. While others will have free shipping so it is a higher winning bid that is seen. Some auctions end at unusual hours. Also people get more involved in the auctions that are truly auctions in comparison to the wussies that list their items at a high starting price, which makes it a classified ad not an auction. I know all this because 6+ months ago before I found this and other resources I was buying ammo and other things off there. I had some pretty good experiences on there as well.Comment
