I got my order cancelled on this Federal ammo can deal when it was first posted. Cabelas did not contact me at all about the cancellation. I found out when I logged into my account to check my order status. I called them about it and they said they oversold and apologized. Makes absolutely no sense to me as I've confirmed with friends, who I told about the deal and ordered after I did, got their orders shipped just like many of you did. And then I watched as over the next few days, I continue to see people placing orders for this and getting shipping notices. I still have that UMC Remington 223 on back-order from late December of 2012.

That just sucks big time. Doesn't make any sense at all.

Except for 400 rounds of American eagle .223 which they baited and switched for 200 rounds.

OH YEAH - how quickly I forget. I got that DEAL too. I cancelled ASAP only to be told it was already processing 200 rounds - too bad you can't return ammo.

I was P I S S ED. But then they emailed me yet again telling me they did catch it in time and it was cancelled. To their credit, they were trying to call me many times and I didn't answer the phone - didn't recognize the digits.

I had been buying up the HERTER's .223 55 and 62 grain stuff for $4.99 per box 100 rounds at a time so I didn't really need much more, let alone a bulk deal for MORE than the AE single boxes were selling for that same week.

That was a pisser.
