Only if you want blasting ammo. For what it is, and what it is meant for, it is a very good price. It is generally considered a tier 1 rabbit/small game load, and some people use it for longer range matches. It would be a waste for using on tin cans at 20 feet.

I called customer service and asked if there was really no limit. Don't worry, I told the CS rep that I got the link from Gunbot (which is the truth). She said there is a glitch in the system right now, but that there is still a one item per day limit per IK number. She said if I wanted them to ship out, I had to choose between the 40-grain and the 36-grain, even though they were both in my cart, because they share the same IK number. She then said I could add some Standard Velocities, because they are listed under a different IK number. I submitted my order and immediately received an "in stock" confirmation email with a delivery date.

I was tempted to try the big order anyway, just to see what happens with the back orders. They are revamping the system at Cabelas. I will be interested to see if the backordered Mini-mags from today ship out at a later date for those who ordered more than one brick, like the "cart glitches" of old.

Speaking of which, my 10-pound Bucket of Golden Bullets is out on the truck, and should be on my porch by the time I get home. Life is still good.

Yes. It's a good price. I just don't see them anywhere. I bought some last week and paid $85 delivered. Not good. I don't need any more as I don't really hunt, and they are to expensive for plinking. At least for me.

Hey, maybe I can get some $$ back from the empties. I forgot about that.

I found them, 50 round boxes. I paid $7.99 at Gander. You have to be careful. Sometimes Gander is more, sometime it is less than Cabelas. Then the 500 round brick was up with the mini's, it was $59.99 I think. Far better than the $79.99 I paid at Gander.

Well then. Hopefully we luck out who ordered more than 1.And hopefully they actually have the inventory to ship! It was on gunbot for what? 3 hours?
EDIT: I see they they are in fact backordered. We'll see what happens. They may have sold more mini-mags than CCI can produce in a year :P

I just had a bunch of factory sealed cases of American Eagle subsonics show up at my door from last weeks cabelas drop. So do not believe them when they tell you it is a limit one unless it says limit one. Same thing happened with the CCI AR Tactical about a month ago and everyone got their cases of that too

If it was just one sleeve, I would agree. But these were the 5-sleeve 500 round packs. $5.00 shipping. It was worth it for me.

It's anyone's guess. I did manage to order more then one brick of the Federal American Eagle Suppressor rounds they had last week as it didn't say "Limit 1" like most of their items. I put 2 bricks in my cart and checked out. They did ship so I believe there is a glimpse of hope for the mini mags as well.
