Got my first Federal can today...

It's a clean delivery with the can zip-tie shut.

Heads up folks - it's not unusual for UPS to deliver 2-3 days early. I wasn't supposed to get this one until Weds/Thurs.

I won't be surprised if the 10/7 can shows up this Friday...

Second one will be offered first to a Scout Master at cost who needs to keep a troop of kids happy.

Same here... packaged perfect, can made a nice vaccuum seal psssshhht sound when I opened it... nice seals, much nicer shape (new) than my GI cans. These are $20 new GI style .50 cans.

Best .0404 per round I have spent this year... (with free shipping and Cabela's points)...

I have resisted more so far. I have other stuff to buy.

Cabela's is good about honoring anything that goes through.

I had a 525 pack on backorder that just cleared and shipped from a while back. They do seem to honor their orders. The only scenario where they have cancelled is when I ordered FOUR duplicate orders on a limit one (they only cancelled one). They ship three, but not four in my experience and ship the backorders as soon as they can.

I was going to say something similar to YoteDown until you reminded me of that one Fly'. Anyways I think I can give them a pass on that one now and they redeemed themselves for me with the Federal cans this past 2 weeks.

I found out when I logged into my account to check my order status. I called them about it and they said they oversold and apologized. Makes absolutely no sense to me as I've confirmed with friends, who I told about the deal and ordered after I did, got their orders shipped just like many of you did. And then I watched as over the next few days, I continue to see people placing orders for this and getting shipping notices. I still have that UMC Remington 223 on back-order from late December of 2012.

I had the same experience with the 1,000 rounds of M22 a while back. Backordered for a while and then my buddy at work had his show up...I checked mine and it was canceled. He ordered after me but got his???

Hoping this Federal is good to go.
