I'm just not sure that SB 53 caused the shortage. Or if people are hoarding ammo in every state?

Doubt that SB 53 is causing the shortage but it probably contributes to it somewhat. Similar law has already passed in NY and some NY shooters over on rimfirecentral have posted that they are buying all they can get before their law goes into effect sometime in 2014, another contributor.

Lots of theories on why the shortage but no real evidence as to why. New shooters, .22lr being cheaper, politics, scare tactics from DC, Homeland Security buying up several billion rounds of centerfire (rumor?), Dept of Agriculture buying a bunch of ammo (another rumor?), etc....

Ammo manufacturers are supposedly running at full capacity and just can't keep up with demand. Lots of rumors, little factual information. Think we just have to ride it out, can't last forever.

Deleon has been trying to stop Internet sales of ammo for years.

His AB962 that passed in October of 2009 took three tries to make it.
Imagine for three years in a row he kept shoving in the same bill.
Third time was a charm and it was signed into law. Before it was inacted,
it was taken to court and declared unconstitutional.

Now he is back with a bigger, badder bill.

This one includes ALL ammo and you have to get a permit to buy it.
It also stops all Internet sales.

Nice huh? If it does pass, it will again have to be litigated.

We can only hope that this scumbag dies or is voted out of office.
That is the only way to stop this guy.

Cookies bby .. Cookies. They are pretty well buried .. even in Chrome. Maybe smartphones and tablets share cookie files across browsers to save memory space .. I don't know .. my box here is 30 pounds of i7-2600k and uses Chrome exclusively. I posted a while back on how to access them, or just delete them all, and sacrifice the "Welcome Back (customer name)" when you click on a site. Cheers

How do I start an online ammo company?

Davidsons amigo .. Davidsons. I stumbled across this when buying some 22LR from an online vendor in Florida last march .. he had neglected to delete the copyright references to Davidsons at the bottom of a couple of his pages, and had acquired a recently coined Class 1 FFL. Bingo

Soo .. you gotta chunk of change .. get your Class 1 FFL .. which is not required to sell ammo (yet), but I fully expect Davidsons to require it, as wholesaling firearms is their core business. Thicker skin would be helpful if you're in Cali .. but do-able. Just remember us Cal-Gunners with a discount ehh

EDIT: Actually, it comes up fine if I access in Private Browsing mode (kills cookies dead without affecting any other browsing windows or sites, give it a try!)
