I've been doing that already, using the old links from my saved cart order. Thought it was a bit different for some reason, but I have been adding to my WL as stock comes up so I can order it when available.

I can guarantee that I'm not hoarding to the level of some. Probably have 6k or so on hand, but hell, shot 500 last weekend, and will probably blow through another 500 or 1000 this weekend. I like shooting paper, what can I say?

Pretty spot on, but there have been a bunch of rumors of gov exports to foreign "allies", and LE agencies switching to .22 for a lot of training.

The only trick with the WL is use the in site WL link for managing quantities, and adding items, and use the link you get from emailing your WL to yourself to oder from (no special advantage other than you can't accidentally wipe out your list - the external link treats you as an outsider even when logged in).

LOL, last count I was at 20K, but that is what I was stocked to before this mess, and I didn't even look until I about ran out. I've laid off orders and just spotted other people for about the last month and a half. I'm only looking for certain specialty loads now.

People keep asking me or commenting on when the shortage will end. I keep saying not in my lifetime. To be able to walk into Walmart on any day, at any time and be able to choose from 5-10 different 22lr boxes is never going to happen again. There are too many people who want 22lr. Hey, I've been wrong before. My sister always told me half the time I didn't know what I was talking about. The other half the time I was wrong.

I see your point too, and you are a recent member, but have a post count that I can't count on my fingers and toes. So now I'm conflicted. This could mean a) you really have contributed or b) you are smart enough to post a lot of random posts everywhere on CG to crack the post count up.

The issue for a lot of people is that recently this thread was deluged by newbs that all wanted information that a lot of people spent a lot of time developing. That's fine, we like to help and share, but then the Richard Craniums spread it out all over FB and other places, who then overwhelmed retail sites, who then were forced to react. This reaction made it a lot more difficult to find ammo. We all got burned for being 'fair.'

So, now, is holding back valuable information a reasonable response to a reasonable request? Yes. Is it 'fair?' Probably not, but thank the DB that ruined it.

Be patient. You'll find ammo.

As a relative new member ( actually a week old member, ) I see why the regular of this thread are reluctant of helping the new ones specially after the multi link deal. I knew that before register, but eventually the regular will see that you have the best intent for this forum and contributing to the thread. I got some help from the regulars at the same time I was able to help a regular who had 200+ post count. So my point being is that when you have the best of the intents for this forum and thread, and being honest; your reputation will build up without much effort
