Sadly, it's not that hard for site admins to look and notice something like this if they have a reason to be monitoring their traffic. They wouldn't even need to have been watching this thread, if they were just keeping an eye out due to the whole "22 panic", it wouldn't be hard to spot. The good news is that it is hard to shut off every single URL trick, the bad news is that if someone is looking, they won't last too long if they start being used heavily.

Yep, you can watch traffic and easily see a rush coming from the various sites.

Its amazing what you can see on web servers. Google has analytic tools that makes it easy for even the lamest IT group to see where the traffic is coming from, the referring site (where the link is clicked) would say calguns all over it, if they are expecting gunbot.net they could easily parse the logs and see where the rest of the traffic is coming from.

For the guys that were talking about the harbor freight ammo cans, I picked up a couple today. Same size as the small Plano/big c box. Haven't compared the hinge yet. Fits 500 rnds boxed 223 in small boxes like tula, wolf gold, etc. Fits 3 bricks of federal/cci/etc, .22 with room for a few boxes of 223. Probably fit at least 40, 50 rnd boxes of .22 if removed from brick boxes.

I was thinking about emptying my mini mags into a 30 cal can and ebaying the jewel boxes. Only problem is the only 30 cal cans I have are filled with 5.56. Hmm tomorrow may become a good day for plinking.
