That's the idea. Lots of M&P owners saying that it fires (most of the time), but does a number on the barrel within a few mags, and is hard to clean. I'll stick to the GB or better. So far M22, and federal are the good cheap ones. CCI blazzer if it ever comes back in stock. Cabela's says it is processed already, but they put a warehouse stop. If they catch it in time, somebody else gets it. If they don't, I'll give it a shot, or it might get range donated.Last edited by inbox485; 02-03-2014, 11:43 AM.Up for rent...Comment

The brick isn't showing anymore so it must have sold out. Oh well. Kinda pricey to begin with so I'll just go with whatever tomorrow brings. I've actually been reading about horror stories with the m22. If those thunderbolts reviews scare you, look into the m22. I do use a 1022 whic apparently fires anything no prob. That's the idea. I skimmed a bunch of threads at the S&W forum. One mention of cold weather causing the bullet lube to slow the action, and hundreds of it works greats. I put about 300 rounds of it through a couple weeks ago with no issues, and a barrel that is still pretty clean. What were you hearing?Up for rent...Comment

I have got a box of GB the last 4 days in a row. All order numbers are in proper sequence. All are still pending. The first run this morning was GB...
...shortly after, switched to TB.
I've actually spent the weekend talking to some nice folks at Cabela's this weekend - helping them with some observations.
Here's what may be going on in regard to GB's over the weekend.
If you look carefully at your order history - in particular the "Order Number", you'll notice that Friday night (1/31) going into Saturday morning (2/1) the order numbers are out of order - like going back in time.
This may indicate that whatever database back-end Cabela's is using experienced an instance of corruption - did a dump and roll-back to a saved dump from an hour or so before - or a similar period of time roll-back.
Of course - going back to the short past would make the future think:
Ooh! Golden Bullets are in stock...
...and appear on the website as such.
I could be wrong - even though I'm in IT - I'm not privy to Cabela's operations.
Don't be surprised if your latest GB grabs get cancelled - you'll probably get your TBs though.
Don't lick your lead when you cry guys...use a 9V battery instead!

doing a quick google, if you type 500 round bulk remington .22, the ONLY thing that pulls up in TBs
If you modify it to say 525 rounds the GB item pulls up.
Seems to me that any of these that go thru in 500 rounds are gonna be TB
525 round bulk is gonna be GB
both are bulk by remington, but the GB get MUCH MUCH better reviews and actually shoot in some of the fickle 22 guns I haveComment
