Picked this up about 6 weeks ago. I put 300 CCI mini mags 36 gr HP's and 300blazers throught it with no problems, it ran flawless.
I picked up the Burris FastFire II and a Speed Shooters mount last week.

Nice setup! How hard was the install on the red dot?

        Yes, nice setup.

I had a similar red dot on previous .22LR pistols, and it got boring after a while because it was too easy after a while...

Not really looking to change it just yet but in the future once its taken enough of a beating but seeing what is out there. If anyone tried any aftermarket ones and were there any advantages? Just curious? Seen some for the 9MM and they have lots of options. So Just wondering?

The internals of the M&P22 is nothing like the internals of the standard M&P 9/40/45. So the recoil springs are not interchangeable.

Just got my M&P 22 back from S&W today. Work order states:
                    1. Replaced front sight.
                    2. Repaired rear sight.
                    3. Checked and Repaired feed. Tested with Hi Vel. Ammo.

Don't have any time until Sunday to see how it shoots now. Crossing my fingers
the good folks at S&W took care of business. Does look like the ramp got a quick buffing.

Can't wait to shoot it!!! Now if I could only find some mags!!!
Just got mine back from S&W after some repairs. Came back dirtier than when I sent it. Nicely oiled, but dirty ! Ordered more mags directly from S&W. They are backordered, but rep said S&W was giving their customers' orders priority. They're also $32.00. Lowest price I've found.

This gun is awesome! Picked it up and gave it a good cleaning. Two applications of frog lube.
Went to the range today and shot the red federal bulk pack. Shot almost flawlessly, 1 FTF. 550 rounds and only 1 FTF. I'm amazed.

Anyone cleaned out the firing pin? I've ran about 2500 rounds through it and I noticed the firing pin was pretty gummed up but don't know if I should try to take it apart to clean or what. Has anyone done it and is there a youtube video or some detailed instructions on here. Did a search but couldn't find anything.

EDIT: Sold out. MidwayUSA.com currently has 10 round M&P 22 magazines in stock. Limit 2. Search for product code 320012.

I just picked up 2 for $27 each.

When I rack the slide from the slide back position, it stove-pipes the first round. After the 2nd rack it starts to run OK. This issue repeats quite often. If I just press the slide lock lever down, it chambers just fine.

Does anyone else have this problem?
