ooh, i'm going to do this on saturday with my still unfired .22 upper for my ar

I was bored and unable to go to the range today like planned so I shot this with my Crossman Quest 1000 at 10m, iron sights, unsupported:



I was a bit disappointed as I was rushing my shots to finish before dark. If there is interest how about adding an airgun class too?

what are the distances if we use pistol?

score should be like l-r club. as long as the line breaks it counts as the higher score. kinda like if you grazed the heart, it'll still die. just a suggestion. it will get confusing when someone gets a 45 percent and claims it the higher score when its suppose to be lower. neways, i will post mines tommrow. its a great activity btw.

what are the distances if we use pistol?

Sorry, I'm not much of a pistol shooter at this kind of stuff. Someone might chim in with a better distance, but I'm guessing 15 open/25 yds scoped.

Any thoughts from you pistoleros?

can I use 10 yards if i am using air pistol? since i don't think i'm gonna get a chance to head out to the range this month, but i got an air pistol that i can easily shoot in my backyard. it only shoots about 300-350 FPS so hoping to use a shorter range to compensate?

sorry for making you add rules, etc onto this, but i really want to be able to participate in these informal matches, it helps me judge my progress in shooting

pistols with scope should be 5o yards. open at 2o. my pistol can make a soda can dance all day at 5o yards. even shotgun shells... w/o scopes.

i'll try to see what is the max distance i have in my backyard and just shoot that and a few at 10/15 yards to see. since i only have a .2gram projectile and 300FPS.... not exactly the best combo for accuracy over long ranges.

I shoot the 17gr aguila rounds in my back yard.
Accuracy sure falls apart past about 10m/yds.
These are going about 350-400fps, but sometimes they don't actually leave the barrel.

That shot on the top row broke the line so it scores as a 10! So score 390!!!

Here is my submission... I hope I wasn't overly generous with a couple of the shots. I don't think I did too bad for a stock all weather 10/22 with the plastic trigger assembly, cheap ammo, and cheap Walmart optic. I hope to start upgrading parts as soon as my account recovers from my truck tire purchase .
