They are repackaging old lots of Eley Match into boxes and calling it "Club Extra". The email I got was sent out for current customers to pre-order.

The $80 bulk packs are in stock. If you want to pay that much.

As I mentioned in the post above this is actually the old lots of higher quality Eley Match that have been repackaged.

I have scrounged around in the last week and managed to add about 3K to my stash averaging 10 cents per. That put me well over 10K so I think I can sit it out.

Is it worth it for the guys who used to wait out in front of Walmart, Bass Pro and the like to open and then run in and buy as much as the can ?

They are limited to 500 rds a month, right?

This shortage is different then all the rest. Selling at an FFL, 500rd limit per month doesn't seem to be a money maker anymore, or did this stupid ***** law create a bunch of law breakers?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I'm sure this wasn't an intended consequence of the ammo background check law, but it does seem to reduce the scope for hoarding/reselling and in a way, maybe moderate shortages as a result.

Dried up? I have 10 Remington bucket at home - but again, I don't buy ammo during panics, lesson learned.

I won't pay more than $0.04 rd. Unless it's premium ammo like Mini-Mags or Stingers. And my limit for that is $0.08 rd, usually $0.06 rd.

But as many other have said, buy during times of feast for have a supply during famines. Kinda like the story of the ants vs. the grasshoppers.

Bought a little at a gun shop in Bakersfield the other day. Not even needing that caliber. 5 CPR. Federal.

                    Not bad in these times.

STILL cheaper than 9mm - you WON'T regret the purchase.

You're right, of course. This too shall pass.

I learned my lessons during the last panic. Stocked up when it was cheap and available. I found myself giving away some ammo to friends that snoozed.

So, this is as good a place to ask an uninformed question.

I shoot, 9mm and 12ga, which I'm well stocked on (unless the Zombie apocalypse and the house and senate are both lost, simultaneously (but I digress)).

I have not had to purchase any ammunition since the new ammo laws were passed. Can one purchase "any" ammunition, or must it be only for those firearms one owns?

The 22LR adapter for my 9mm CZ75 is driving this question.

You can buy any caliber ammo. They don't track what calibers you own, just that you are in the DOJ system. It's quick and painless but it osts a buck and you must sign a form.
