Even 22lr Ammo Dried Up?

Called several local gun stores, all no 22lr, they had plenty just couple weeks ago. Even big retail stores are out, Big 5, etc. Are hoarders now going after 22lr?

Yes, 22LR is always first to go. You should already have 10k-20k rounds, we learned this after Sandyhook

Depends on what you're willing to spend.

Match ammo like Eley Tenex is still readily available. But if you're not actively trying to make the U.S. Olympic Rifle team or competing regularly in smallbore or benchrest competition it's really overkill.

In fact, I just got an email from Killough Shooting Sports that they were repackaging Eley Match .22LR that hasn't sold into more affordable bulk packs.

$80 for 500 rounds, but I know that's still a lot for .22. (Eley Match normally costs about $142.50 for 500 rounds)

Same here, have like 20k rounds of various 22LR. No Rem Thunderbolts though, have some Rem Golden Bullets and they're already dirty enough...

A case is 5000 rounds, not 500.

What's it up to? I may have to dig out 10 or 20,000 to sell if there is enough profit in it.
