.22 lr ammo availability improving?

Just waked out of a local gun store with two bricks at 6.1 cents a round. Only bought two because that is all they had left.

Most everything I am reading here proves, that for the most part, the .22 rimfire "ammo shortage" is finally over.

Right now shooters are high fiving each other when they can get 5 boxes of mini-mags for $50.

I can right now drive to Sportsman's Warehouse and purchase all of the CCI standard velocity, and or Mini Mags I want. They haven't been out of stock in the last 5 times I was there, with no limits on anything. Cabela's has also had good sales on Federal bulk pack's, (325 rounds), with no limit. That has not existed for over 4 years.

I was at Sportsman's Warehouse last night in Rohnert Park,Ca and they were out of CCI mini-mags and when they do have them you are limited to 3 sliders of 100 or one bulk pack of the Federal AutoMatch.

I find the packing material lacking in a few of my last shipments.
Just opened a small Bass Pro order of stocking stuffers,
CCI Merry X-Mas 2016 50pks.
I'm not sure who's been employed to pack these boxes?
Almost nothing inside but two green blow up's and one was popped.
No damage to any of the plastic, but they must have been making some noise! -g

Got my first installment of Gandermtn mini mags yesterday afternoon, packaged well and nothing broken.

Gander has had several sales for $40 with free shipping recently.

But I did give myself a high five when I got their deal for $32.45 for 500!

That is the lowest I have paid for minimags.

Yup. I think $6.49 no tax, shipped free was the deal... last great one was cases of the AR Tacticals (375 packs) for .074 ish... maybe some random low limit minimags for .08. Yeah .05 or .045 Golden Bullets or Federals are ok but CCI is what I look for.
