LOL> Remember, the local Kommiefornia News Anchors would be shocked you can count your rounds in the 1,000s. You must be a Gun-Nut (tm) LOL.
I have far too few of any caliber I want to have a supply of right now. If Hillary gets elected, anyone who stocks up on ammo and reloading supplies will not be sorry. One can hope that lying deceitful power-mad Harpy won't get in, but if she does...Benefactor Life Member NRA, Life Member CRPA, CGN Contributor, US Army Veteran, Black Ribbon in Memoriam for the deceased 2nd Amendment

That's a beautiful photo, a work of art. The asymmetrical geometric pattern, vibrant colors, and composition evokes feelings of both awe and happiness. Well done.Comment

So have you inventoried the contents of this ammo can?
Also do you shop at Cabelas? They have the Mini Mags in stock often, so if I'm buying something, I'll toss 1 into the order. You can give peace a chance...

Speaking which mini mags up at cabelas right now in 100 sleeves and some sub rem stuff keeps going in and out of stock too.
I do understand the frustration but it has sadly been off and on like that for all ammo as of late. Look at the whole 5.56 ss109 thing and how it really drained almost ALL major rife calibers some what driving up price. Not to mention conflict across the world I am sure has had some effect so when people find their favorite caliber suddenly expensive they look at .22lr to fill the gap.
Thank god we are starting to see handgun ammo kinda stablizing and rifle ammo slowing going down.
.22lr watch cabelas, gander, brass badger(if walmart near), and other local stores like dicks , big 5 etc. Also Rabbit posts about finding .22lr long ago is still pretty valid more or less. Is it great naw but does help cut down costs and nice to have a variety of calibers to shoot when one goes up. Besides variety is the spice of life
I do think seeing a 100 buckets come into dicks(yea ok price is up $10 from a bit ago but still an ok price) does give everyone hope? So hang in there and keep looking you will find some. Though I do wish we still had the .22lr in stock thread even though I do understand why it got shut down.
On a side note I think besides prices rising on other calibers causing people to go to .22lr more the other thing is just the sheer amount of .22lr variants,mp 15-22 etc., we now seen has driven demand too.Comment

Of course!
Winchester Super-X 100
Federal Auto Match 550
Winchester Value 333
CCI Mini Mag HP 2500
Winchester M-22 625
CCI Quiet 900
I buy most of my stuff from Midway. I got all the CCI Mini Mag HPs from Sacramento Gun Club for 8.06/100 + Tax. Not a terrible price so I stocked up.Last edited by Midtown; 04-16-2015, 8:56 AM.Comment

If someone has the money to buy a lot of ammo who gives a isht. Are we still crying about the shortage of 22? last two gun shops I went to (turners/riflegear) had plenty. Was it limited to one or two boxes, yeah but the guy at turners said they got it in days ago and RG had boxes and boxes behind the counter.
Get off your *** a drive further then the 7-11 to look for ammo, if it was cigarettes your dumb *** will being driving across state lines but 22 ohhh no.Comment

There were many people complaining about the 1 box limit that Cabelas implemented. Same thing at Turners. Oh well, their store, their policies. If someone has the money to buy a lot of ammo who gives a isht. As for driving to Wally World, the closest ones that sell ammo are far away. Then again, I ain't complaining about price nor availability. If its available and I got some $$, BUY, BUY, BUY!!!You can give peace a chance...

If you've got more than 2000 rounds, in this environment, you are hoarding.
If all the hoarders stopped buying .22LR for 6 months, we would get the price back down to a rational level, like 5 cents a round.sigpicDon't ask how many guns I own, I lost count.

THIS ^^^^
YES!!!
We should ration key commodities like ammo...oh and food...oh and jobs...oh and everything because the state knows what is best for all of us, not we the people right?
Why even have a vote since elitist like you know best for the rest of us and can TELL us what to do to live our lives PROPERLY?
And if we just controlled what clothes people bought we could make them all wear gray and any other color is UNNECESSARY!!!
And, of course, they should be limited to one child for the good of the state right?
And, one party reduces the moral choices to make right?
And who needs guns when the state is empowered to make all decisions for you?
NO ONE of course!!!!
And so on.
STOP IT COMMIE. Nuff said.Last edited by advocatusdiaboli; 04-23-2015, 9:45 PM.Benefactor Life Member NRA, Life Member CRPA, CGN Contributor, US Army Veteran, Black Ribbon in Memoriam for the deceased 2nd Amendment

Oh I Look in the mirror and I see a free-market patriot who loves liberty and thinks you educate people rather than bend them on their knees under the yoke of tyranny and make them bow to an elite like you who appoint yourself as knowing what is best for them.
You don't like hoarding. Fine! Educate them. But using loaded words like hoarding is not the way. they are stocking up for a risky future. and I don't blame them. You probably vote Democrat and think it's just fine.
