Just made my first purchase with OP. Ordered a Vortex scope Jan 13th, and it's supposed to be here Jan 19th. Not too bad for where we live. Most things will take at least an extra 2 days to arrive.

Years ago, I bought something from OpticsPlanet. They didn't mistreat me, and the shipping was about normal. Everything looked legit. Not sure what they're like now, though; the reports I'm reading over the last few years are a little concerning.

MidwayUSA's Web site will tell you if they actually have it in stock, if it's backordered, if it can even *be* backordered at this time, etc. They do this real-time. Their shipping is fast, too. Gotta hand it to Mr. Potterfield on that.

Well, I got a surprise email today from optics planet. They shipped me my scope....9 days earlier than originally projected. Hopefully it shows up in one piece, as it's going via UPS. Finger's crossed. B.

It's a bummer. I want to order one of the Trybe defense magnification doublers that only they sell, but I just can't bring myself to order from them again. The shipping delays and lies get tiresome. Wish I could buy it somewhere else

I had 2 orders that were fine, took around 2 weeks to arrive. Each order was like 1 or 2 items. So I decide to put in a bigger order. I have 9 items, now it's in limbo, processing for 2 weeks. Frustrating.

I've ordered with them a few times. I've always gotten my item. BUT some came within days... others weeks... and still others months.

However, I DID receive what I ordered. Price was good and I didn't mind the wait as I gathered other items for builds and whatnot

Dealing with OpticsPlanet issue now, ordered a expensive part that said it was in-stock, one month later it still hasn’t shipped. I called and got the order cancelled and got a email confirming order was cancelled. Now 2 months later and the charge is still on my credit card and I’m dealing with that.

I ordered a red dot a few days ago and it shipped within 18 hours. I actually tried to cancel it because I found a better optic elsewhere for the same price. I’ll have to go through the return process I guess. But fast shipping as of this post.
