My heart about stopped beating when I got an email from CMP with shipping notification for 2 items. Thought it was the two HRAs I ordered, then I saw the item list and realized it was the two cans of Greek ammo I ordered... sigh...

Then again, better to have ammo waiting for the rifle, than a rifle without ammo.

Yep I'm now the proud owner of three HRA service grade Garands! I'll post pics when I can. One of them is a '53 with GI wood and mismatched hardware. The other two are 54s with HRA bolts and barrels and CMP wood. I haven't checked the rest of the parts yet. I'm still waiting for the barreled receiver I ordered. It is still listed as "open" on the eStore.

You misread it. They have a level of service that is guaranteed overnight BY 10:30am. Could be anywhere from 8:00am to 10:30am.

That being said last time I had something with that shipping arrive it was more like 10:45. Oops.

Just got mine HRA today. They said 10:30AM but got it at 8:47AM. It's 10:30AM arrival but it can be earlier.

Thanks for the input guys. Luckily I am off tomorrow. The earlier the better, so I can check it, clean it, and lube it togo shooting that same time. Also I just got my ammo about and hour ago.
