You'll be pleased to see that VFW counts. Being a vet counts as "markmanship or other firearms related activity". So assuming you're a citizen you have to fill out some paperwork, xerox proof of the above, get one signature notarized, and mail it in.

Thought I would post an update for the ammo purchasers. Ordered 3 cans of the -06 on 3/27 and my CC was just hit. Garand orders from 3/20 no word on just yet.

My CMP Special order received on 3/21 - nothing yet - probably another month. My ammo order placed through the estore on 3/26 hit my CC on 5/31.

They've been able to get more walnut ones so mostly they're sending out those since people generally prefer them. Not too long ago Orest was saying there were still birch ones in inventory but I think at this point they must have all been flushed out.
