Hadn't seen it show up in the eStore, and hadn't gotten any email updates since I spoke with the young lady on the 7th to verify that she received my additional documentation, so I sent a follow-up email inquiring about the status. I received this response yesterday:

"Sir,

We apologize for the delay, but the Sales Department has not made it to your order yet. They are processing orders received on January 2, at this time.
You will receive an email once the order is processed.

Thank you,

CMP Customer Service"

Sounds like I'm still a couple of weeks away. Should help those waiting to see where they are in the queue.

You will get a e-mail saying order was received. You need to set up a account on E-Store. From there you can track you order

Question for anyone that knows. Send in my membership to the M1 collectors club. They cashed may check already. Do you guys think I can send in a order now to CMP? I have everything else just need a club membership.

Send in order and on order forum put " GCA membership applied for" By the time they open your order club info will probably be there.
If not they will contact you

Sweet! They received my order on 1/7. Should be seeing it go through within the next couple of weeks.

I got an email from M1 collectors club with my membership information. Now I just need to get home so I can mail my order in. On vacation at Grand Canyon this weekend. If anyone needs a club to join I suggest M1 collectors club for $14.00 a year from when you sign up. They have a nice Facebook page.

You might consider putting in the order now with the idea that it will be a couple of months before they hit your credit card anyway.

This is a clever suggestion. You will also have the billing duration as well.

Could be Summer before your finally cash out on one.

When you purchase a membership from an affiliated club, print out the online receipt and enclose with your order. I have emailed a pdf to customer service in the past when my club had expired.

I'm planning to buy a CMP Garand soon and my biggest concern is the shipping. I'm a college student away from home and I'll be shipping the gun back home so that it would arrive around the time I fly back for summer. Does anyone have any recent insight to how long it takes for the Garand to come to my doorstep? The website says 60-90 days, but is that from the time I get the DBU email or when my mail is opened by the CMP? I would hate to have it delivered early and my parents can't pick it up (probably turning into a huge headache since its a gun) while on the other hand I don't want to mis-calculate and have to go back to school before it arrives.

There is no telling how long it will take. Get your order in asap. They only require an adult signature to deliver. Track the FEDEX number and call home the day before it arrives so your parents can be available to sign. I believe it should be around a 10 AM delivery.

Ordered 1 HRA Service Grade Special, 1 SA FG w/a sticky for WWII Serial # and USGI wood, and 2000 rds of HXP

I know the sticky request is a longshot with the current order volume, but with the SAs not accepting orders starting just after I got my DBU, I'm sure I would not have any problem selling it locally if I don't get what I'm looking for. Or just start accumulating a pile of Garands....
