Average C&R application wait time

I know there was an old thread where people posted their Application mail out date and then the date they recieved their license. Anyone recieve thier license recently and if so what was your turn around time.

just got mine within the last month (no, I don't know why I waited this long!)

• Day 1 – Dropped off both letters (BATF and CLEO) at post office
• Day 6 – Credit card charged for $30
• Day 27 – Received license in mail
• Day 34 – Received info packet and CD in mail (packet 1 inch thick)

mine took over two months. I ended up calling them and they said that they will mail it right away, glad I called. ended up getting it a few days later.

My renewal is taking forever. They cashed my check nearly a month ago.

What number did you call? I'm going to call if mine doesn't show up by the 1st. Today is exactly 30 days since I mailed my application and I think Monday will be 30 days since they charged my card.

I don't think my application was rejected for any reason as the ATF has not refunded the charge nor have I received any paperwork or phone calls from either the ATF or local PD...

So why it takes so long I have no idea, I think they do it on purpose.

Mine took about 75 days. A very looooong 75 days!

I got mine around 90 days felt like forever.

Just got one again, 46 days.

mailed 27 may 2012. Check cashed june 4th,2012. still no certificate. this is worse than waiting for my Army ETS

About three weeks for me. Now I am addicted and need to work more.

I emailed them at the beginning of the week. They said they would try and get it out by the end of the week. My account was charged on May 10th.

They are swamped at the moment apparently.
