It took about a week to get my 91/30 from AIM. Funny thing is it had an RGUNS tag attached to the trigger guard.Originally posted by EpaphroditusSituational awareness is not part of common core.Comment

Thats funny. Is RGUNS one of the actual importer companies?"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."Comment

My M44 shipped on Tuesday just gone. It'll be here on Monday according to UPS. That was from AIM too
Edit - if you ordered from AIM, you should have an email from them with the UPS tracking code.Last edited by dotalchemy; 11-03-2011, 1:18 PM.1928 Tula 91/30 | 1944 Izhevsk M44 | As yet unknown 91/30 and M44 - still in the box | 1976 Walther P-1...Daddy, what else did you leave for me?

INGSOC comes to America.
Sip your Victory Gin folks, time's are a changin'
Time it was, and what a time it was, it was
A time of innocence, A time of confidences
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph

Made my first C&R purchase as an 03 FFL today, a Russian M44. Now the agonizing wait begins... I really have no patience.Comment

Bought an M1917 off of a seller on the CMP forums. I await shipping notification....Comment

Got my 1917 Remington Mosin-Nagant NRA sporter the other day. Was my first 03 FFL purchase. I'll post pics soon. On a side note the addiction is becoming too great and I am forced to look for new ways to get new guns. I want what I can't have (normally) and I am willing to go as far as needed to get what I want. A new wait begins.........for my 01 FFL.....sigpic

I confess, I have had errant thoughts along those lines... would being a 01 FFL give you all the power of living in a free state, plus the ability to engage in intra and inter-state commerce?Got my 1917 Remington Mosin-Nagant NRA sporter the other day. Yes and no. As a personal collector you're still bound by the laws of the land so the advantage is not much other than you can buy C&R handguns and have them shipped directly to you. However, as a business or corporation the company can own all sorts of cool stuff like off-roster and NFA items if you're licensed for it. So as long as you don't mind your business owning all the cool stuff then yeah, you've got power. Only drawback is it's a pay to play game, so if you're just a collector trying to get an inside track the extra expenses might not make it worth it outside of being strictly a "kitchen table" FFL. That WAS my plan, but it's snowballed from there by needing a commercial location.sigpic
