As seen above I sent my payment on the 13th, the check cleared on the 19th. Thats pretty fast for a check!

I sent mine on a Thursday and it cleared Monday. Working pretty fast over there.

So does cashing the check mean it's pretty much a done deal or do they take your money then refund if you get shot down?

They take the money first. If it is a no-go then they refund the money.

Thank you for taking the time to scan this and make a fillable form. I was going to attempt the exact same thing but I lost my copies of the form the last time I moved. yes, i would like to extend my thanks to turbinator also. i sent my for out last weekend and they charged my card last week. i'm hoping to have my 03ffl in the mail next week.

I say about a month, since that's how long it took them to mail mine.

the government is quick to take from you if you owe them.
but they take their sweet ***** time giving you what is rightfully yours.
