        C&R paperwork question

I received my green forms yesterday. There are two complete forms in the envelope. Here is my question:

        1. Do I just fill out and separate the copies on one of the forms(and send to ATF and LEO)?

        2. Or do I fill out both forms and send duplicate copies to both agencies?

        3. Did they just send two complete forms in case I mess one up?

I just want to make sure that I do not mess anything up and have to start again,
        Thanks-
        Chuck

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I ordered one form. Waited. Ordered two. Waited. Called ATF field office (who were super nice and helpful) and they sent me the forms in less than a week.
Now the other ones are here.
And they sent me a total of four extras.
So if anyone needs any PM me.

Mailed my application on 4/12/2010. Received FFL03 today (5/14/2010) in the Mail.
Thanks to HK91666 for sending me over one of his extra forms.

Ok, I have a question for you guys...

I am not a CA resident. I am a college student (so I suppose I could apply for CA residency, but I don't want to do that) with my DL and CCW stuff being tied to my "home address" in CO (where I grew up/parents live). If I apply for an FFL03, can I get stuff shipped to my apartment in CA (I figured this was a no-no on firearms, but what about ammo)? If not, could I walk into a big 5 with FFL03 and CO driver's license and buy a Mosin? This is all very confusing to me. Thanks!

                      sending in forms today

I order my forms online back in March and received them in April. I delayed filling them out because my local shop talked about COE and stuff like that. I should have checked here first. Then I would have known about Turbinator's PDF forms. Oh well. I've got them filled out and will mail them on my way to lunch.

I mailed in my forms on 5-5 or 5-6 and received the license today so it took a little over 20 days...not bad.

I ordered my forms online Tuesday 5/25 and received them today (5/29), extremely fast I would think based on what I've read in this thread. However, I do have a question. Do I have to use the 2 finger print cards sent with the forms, or can I do a Live Scan and use the Live Scan number? If so, how do I do this?

fingerprint cards are not neccessary for the C&R FFL app. They must have sent them to you by mistake.

And you only need to do the Live Scan if you want to get your COE.
