Thanks, yeah, the Battle Comp 1.5 does not suppress muzzle flash. You can still see the muzzle flash though the ACOG TA-33, but it wasn't bad."We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience." - Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.Comment

This is a blanket statement taking a photo FAR out of context. Even when shooting with a dedicated flash suppressor or actual suppressor you will occasionally get muzzle flash, especially after high round counts and fast cadence of fire. What is to say that 90% of the shots fired were virtually flash free and this is one of those flare-ups? Furthermore you have no idea what ammo he is shooting, what exposure setting the camera was on, how many rounds have been through the device, and finally if he is doing a mag dump. Just having the camera on a super slow shutter speed can make things look MUCH brighter than they actually are. Combined with all the other factors a statement like yours is extremely misleading.
The Battlecomp works as advertised. It is an outstanding combination of muzzle rise mitigation/compensation, with out the negative effect of increased flash that a muzzle brake produces. The Battlecomp provides approximately the same flash suppression as an A2 birdcage, and IMO is rivaled by nothing else on the market.
Not trying to bust your chops, just trying to clear up the situation.

How about 40% are flash free? We were shooting PMC bronze 55gr. factory loads. What ammo should we be shooting that will cut the flash down to 90%? hahahah, my Wilson 1911 did a better job with flash suppression.
Battle Comp 1.5 = 4/10 shots flash suppressed.
Wilson Combat KZ45 6/10 shots flash suppressed, "no muzzle device".
The picture above was take with a Canon 1D mark III with a 50mm F/1.8 mark I lens at F/1.8 1/60sec and 3200ISO. No post production was added.

It was obviously a hypothetical question. In what part of that did I say that 90% of shots out of the BC will be flash free? Where did I say that there is a magical flash reducing ammo? You are taking everything I just wrote way out of context. If you don't understand the point of my comments, I will attempt to make it more clear... The photo has no relevance in comparison with other devices unless the other devices were photo documented on the exact same weapon setup, in exact same climates, exact same time of day, exact same ammo, exact same amount of rounds through each weapon, and exact same cadence of fire. How about 40% are flash free? Where have you seen Battlecomp Enterprises advertise that the BC eliminates 100% of muzzle flash? No where. It is advertised as having a flash signature comparable to an A2 birdcage... That is all.
The point is the Battlecomp does a good job at flash suppression while preforming its duties as a comp. It is obviously not going to work as good as a dedicated flash suppressor, but if you are looking for the best of both worlds IMO the BC is the way to go.

The flash is somewhat noticeable from the ACOG. Yet, it's not a big deal at all. Indeed, the BC did what it's suppose to."We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience." - Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.Comment
