I am pretty much in love with anything that has the Magpul logo on it and this holds true with the CTR. The CTR is solid and well built and locks up tight, as is my friend's Magpul SPR. I was actually gearing up to purchase the UBR but alas, I didn't have the patience to wait for the release. The CTR is nice and light but very strong, but it will be replaced by the UBR when it is finally released, so I can use the CTR on a true carbine size AR15 for second build.

Here is my build, not nearly complete, but I'm happy with it so far.

RRA Lower. RRA LPK. Prince 50 Mag-Kit. CProducts 30/10. Armalite Upper & 16 Barrel. YHM Flip up sights. YHM Forend. Danial Defense Offset Mount. Surefire 9P /Clickycap/P91 200 Lumen Bulb. EOTech 512. Crappy Buttstock & Foregrip. And USP 45 I just bought. Next step is a RRA Upper, VLTOR Buttstock, and a better laser(I have a crappy 99 dollar green-laser that I haven't mounted yet) Yes it weighs a ton.

Man all these pictures are getting me hot and bothered. I have just been going through life enjoying my standard A2 20" barrel weapon. I don't know anything about all these cool parts and rails, aimpoints, trijicon that, co-witness whatevers, 14.5" barrel with permanent flash hider, 16" barrel, etc. I want to convert mine to look as cool as all these ones. I want a M4 inspired gun. Flat top upper with rails all the way around on the hanguard so I can stick on all kinds of cool stuff like flashlights, lasers, grips, bipod etc and a cool scope or something on the top along with iron sites and a collapsible stock. I don't have any idea where to get started. I normally like to have what the military uses but nowadays it seems even they have a million variants of scopes, etc. Can somebody help me out? I don't know where to start. It is a registered AW so I should be good to go for whatever I want. I don't plan on using it in actual combat very often. Mostly just shooting it at the range.

You're right, there are a *ton* of options out there for you! Although, I would say you're one step ahead of the game, compared to many of us.

I would suggest sending a PM to anyone on here, who has a rifle/part that you're interested in. Also, if you haven't done so, head over to ar15.com to check out their forums and read feedback on various parts and vendors.

This one just make me moist. So I guess he has a Trijicon(are those magnafied?) plus another thing on top(some sort fo red dot? How does that work?) plus the flip up BUIS and it looks like a laser too. I will have to live without the grenade launcher(flare launcher?). Is that a four way rail system with handguards that that go over the rails? Actually I guess I should PM the guy that posted this on ar15.com.
