don't worry, i'll be gentle. the M4 and M16 are military designations for AR patterned rifles. what you see here is an AR-15, essentially the civilian version of the M-series of military rifles. there are many variations of each of these rifles with different names, but the bottom line is the picture above is an AR-15.

in case you were wondering what the difference between an M4 and M16 are, i'll keep it real simple and point out the major difference is that the M4 is a shorter version of the M16.

M4 has a 14.5" barrel and collapsible buttstock. M16 has a 20" barrel and a non-collapsible buttstock. there are other differences too, but those are the major ones. ...and an AR-15 can be seen in many different variations. the major difference with the AR vs. the M rifles is that the AR is only semi-auto and cannot fire in burst or full auto modes.

that keltec su16ca isnt cali legal.you cant have a detachable mag build with a flash hider and vfg on it unless its a raw which i doubt since those su16's werent made prior to 2000.so that build would need a bb and a 10rd mag if you kept those features on it.

Thanks for the concern fellows, but its 100% Cali legal. I have a bullet button on it and its a 10/30 magazine. Looks like a 30 rounder, but only holds 10. Thank you Magpul!

Dad grabs his kid's head and says "What's this?"
                            Kid replies, "I don't know."

I had a mean Dad with a cheesy sense of humor.
