I didn't really want an "entry level" AR back then, and I sure don't want to pay for one now.

Nah not really. I always believed Ill always find one for the right price. And when I say right I mean lower than market rate right. It might not be now but sooner of later Ill find one.
Not the one to bite into a hype if I can help it."get that evil thing out of the house"

i regret not getting another Mosin for under a $100"The gun has played a critical role in history...an invention that has been both praised and denounced...served hero and villain alike...and carries with it moral responsibility. To better understand the gun is to better understand history."Comment

Pre sandy hook I was selling alot of guns because we were hurting for cash with our new son being born. Figured I could easily buy the stuff back after work picked up. Sold a nice AR, wasr-10/63, xd9, sub2000, rem700, and a new m1a... gun supply got alot smaller, and now crap is 3xs original price and hard to get. Lesson learned, sell or figure other ways to get money then selling gunsLast edited by xxINKxx; 04-19-2013, 7:36 AM."If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas JeffersonComment

Bought that WASR 10/63 at Turners for the sale price and has been nothing but awesome for me. AKs IMO are supposed to be rugged and cheap, so why pay so much for a "nice" AK. I've been a pistol guy mainly and funded alot of my want list for pistols, I do regret not buying more rifles. Happens that I was about to start purchasing rifles when Sandy Hook took place. I am still waiting for prices to come down.Comment
