Muzzle Brake Time

here is the muzzle brake from amazon that looks like all the other $80-150 dollar brakes...but is MUCH less on amazon.

What is your intended use?

I have the Rainier arms xtc and think its a great break. It works very well at keeping the muzzle down. However its loud and throws a fireball to the right and left of you, so at night you light up like a Christmas tree. But for the price I would do another one. Or even consider the RMC. RMC is the xtc with out the tines at the end that just look fancy.

Plinking and a little run and gun every now and again. I've also been looking into competition style shooting but that's for later on down the road. My main goal is to find something to help keep my on target better than the standard birdcage when I fire more than one round at a time.

Of the ones you listed I'd go with the Surefire.

YHM Phantom Brake. Works as good or better than any of the higher priced brakes and only costs 30 bucks. And night time shooting is beastly with the 5 port star pattern .

I have the PWS 556 and love it. My buddy out in Texas is now doing 3 gun and everyone is running the Rolling Thunder Muzzle Brake.... Another option if anyone here has input.

My BCM MOD 1 Gunfighter just landed today. I was going to go with a Smith Vortex but was immediately intrigued when I saw Rainer Arm's video comparing it to the Battle Comp. Now just need to get to the range to try it out.

not sure, but Larue Tactical might have them. they don't have live stock tracker on their website and if you try to call them, they will tell you its a 1-2 hour wait to get a sales person who might be able to tell you.

if you do place an order, a couple days later they will tell you if it is in stock (meaning they are going to ship) or its on backorder.
