    Muzzle Brake Time

Hey there CalGunners. Just wanted some home team input regarding AR muzzle brakes. I'm currently running a standard A2 on my 16" mid-length build. Just wanted some feedback on which ones you have used and what you would suggest before I shell out some dough for what is hopefully the last part to complete my rig.

Here are the ones I'm looking at:

    PWS FSC556
    Rainier Arms XTC
BCM's new gunfighter comps (not too much data on these since they are new)
    Surefire MB556K

    I appreciate the feedback guys.

+1 for PWS 556, extremely low muzzle rise--very effective

I've run a lot of Surefire brakes. Side blast can be an issue if you run close in with people. otherwise it's the most effective I've used.

PWS FSC556 is pretty loud at the sides, however, muzzle rise is very minimal to almost non depending on technique. Helps a lot of keeping target on sights.

              this...

its WAY cheaper than the ones you mentioned, and does just as good of a job as a JP, surefire, etc.
