The price is a bit steep, I wish it came in stainless, and I hate that stock, but otherwise looks ok.

I've owned Ruger bolt actions and was pleased with them so once I heard about this I was looking forward to seeing it.

        Never mind.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Id pick one up, were it not for the price tag. My 600 mohawk could use a buddy.

I like the concept, don't really care about gunsite. Never really heard of it, honestly.

That about sums it up for me too , will grab a used one later on down the road and replace that HIDEOUS FS ( At least it's threaded @ 5/8x24 tpi for easy replacement )

We'll see how it is reviewed after some time and hopefully the price will come down a bit.

That bolt handle makes the gun look like a bubba job..... Reminds me of the FR8

newbie here. Will the threaded flash suppresor prevent it from being California legal

Only semi-auto centerfire rifles are governed by the state's AW laws. Bolt actions/rimfires are exempt. Just has to have 16 inch barrel and 26 inch OAL length.

If it was $700 with a 18" or 20” barrel I would be very interested.

Anybody else make something comparable to this from the factory w/o the silly flash hider on it?? I am somewhat interested and really like the compact sub 20" BBL but would change a few things.

I'm sure barrel options are soon to follow. Then again I'm sure a gunsmith would make short work of that ugly cage.
