My only other complaint is the 10 round mag, but I'm sure they'll add a 5 rounder soon enough.

They mention five rounders being available on the website. But like another poster mentioned, Ruger mags a never cheap.

I'll like it when used ones hit the market at $5-600. Otherwise, it looks like a cool little brush gun. Ditch the FH and put on a nice comp and Bob's your uncle.

Wow. I hate ruger more than anything now. I finally got a scout rifle and they come up with one thats pretty cool. Still like mine better

Price is slightly restrictive. I'm VERY disappointed at their choice in barrel length. I'm sure they did it for the sake of weight. Hopefully they add an 18" bbl, or optimally a 20" bbl that's threaded, but doesn't come with a muzzle device attached.

I agree wholeheartedly. The offered barrel length is ridiculous for .308. Let's talk 22 or 24", and no muzzle device.

It's a scout rifle, it's supposed to be lightweight and handy.
