I would absolutely NOT bet that DOJ keeps cumulative records on every change in marketing language on every muzzle device on the market. That's speculative at best.
What happens when someone advertises their bare muzzle or thread protector as "less flash than device x"?

http://www.wolfpackarmoryusa.com/pro...c-a1cbf98c0681 if you contact him he'll open it up to 9mm for you (or at least he is for me). I have one on my AR47 and one on the way for my Sub2000.

Well, then we'd be more screwed than we already are. That hypothetical example just goes to show how flawed the enforcement process is.

Kaw Valley Precision makes a 9mm linear compensator that will get the job done.

Joe Bob has other stuff 9mm too, actually... just need to check what your thread spec is on your 9mm whatever carbine.

I saw that kaw valley one, looks good.
I'm odd I want the same one in all of mine, tad bit of uniformity. Wonder if I can find a dyna comp in 9mm. My google-fu is lazy this morning

Know of anyone who makes a 2" thread protector that would work on a 14.5" barrel? Also, not to hijack, but can anyone identify the manufacturer of this muzzle device?

seabee, to be 2" it'd have to be more than a thread protector.

I just ordered the Kaw Valley Linear Comp for my M&P Sport II saturday morning. I got a shipping confirmation less than 6 hours later!! It's coming with a UTG A2 stock kit.

Here's a link to the Kaw Valley LC. http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Kaw_...ear223-blk.htm

Now all I have to do is find a place to help me get the old flash hider off and the new one on.

                    Happy shooting and be safe!

Anything that works well on 300BLK will work well on 7.62x39 as well, and 7.62x39 ARs tend to use the same threads as 300BLK (and 308).

http://www.wolfpackarmoryusa.com/pro...7-3e8281d66abd is inexpensive and should work well. I have a single chamber brake of theirs that works well but doesn't seem to be listed anymore.

I used a 2.2 oz melonited BRT linear compensator on mine. It looks like an A2 birdcage without the slots.
