No, but you could have sold a molle attachable kydex toilet paper roll holder pretty easily.

Wow!! A new marketing opportunity if you have not already patented it.

Last week I went in there because I so a guy you wanted to build a longer range AR, for out to 800 yards. I recommended he look into 6.5 Grendal. An AR "brotheren" says after me that .223 is fine for shooting out to 800 yards and that is so much cheaper than 6.5.

.223 can be done and successfully but its not cheaper, you need a 1x7.7 twist and heavy 90 grain pills, its harder on the gun also.

.223 can also be done successfully with 1x8 and 80 grain pills but paying attention to wind drift is critical.

Putting both above in a long (29-30") barrel give you a better advantage.

I have my doubts a 6.5 Grendal in an AR platform is an advantage over a .223 1x8" with 80's at 800

Having shot .223 in AR's and long barreled Match rifles out to 1000 I feel confident in my opinion.

Just for fun I searched "zombie" in the semi auto forum... 148 threads!
            Here? Just 6.
It's not the flaming ruins; it's that you lit the fire.

I pretty much just lurk on the manual sub forum but I do notice that the quality of the posts is much better than on the semi auto forums. I don't really post on this forum because I am trying to learn as much as I can about bolt guns before I start buying stuff for my Remington 700.

Tactical would be a huge swing too I would imagine.

Yes it can be done and I fully see your point. But saying you can do it with cheaper ammo

I'm new to bolt guns, having only one so far (semi-autos galore) I absolutely love it though.. The challenges with precision at greater distances is very enjoyable.

And in typical Calguns sarcasm fashion, I'll be able to pick off those zombies in such a tactical manner with my bolt gun...
                      Lol!

Seriously, love Calguns and have been spending more time here in this forum... Learned about "jumping" last night... Never heard of that until then...

                        Now it's 7.....

I like all kinds of firearms. But I only compete with bolt actions. I do enjoy plinking with a semi's.
