Thanks, guys. Took me a few years to find acceptable copies for a price I could afford.

From top to bottom, 44-40 made in 1925 with a crisp minty bore, 38-40 made in 1908 with a crisp minty bore, 32-20 made in 1921 with a crisp minty bore, and 25-20 made in 1917 with a crisp minty bore. The 38-40 has some vintage sling mounts, and the 25-20 has a weird little homemade eye bolt "sling swivel' in the rear, but other than that the guns are pretty much un-messed with. Screws are good, wood is good, finishes are original. And all are very, very good shooters.

That's the way a lever gun should look..

          Thanks for sharing Boss
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Thanks for the induction. The pics I shared are put a small portion of my humble accumulation. Here's a teaser pic of my lettered and original semi-custom 1901 '94 rifle, chambered in 38-55:

                    Now y’all have done it!........
                    Gonna have to get my squaw’s 1892 in .25-20 out.....I think it’s from 1927....
It belonged to her father, he used it for deer in the Santa Monica Mountains when that was common practice.

I'm almost ready to work on my 25-20 converted to 255 Dean project again. Was tinkering the other day, but I need to cut a sizing die in half to make ammo. 😤

Do not check out this Instagram link, nothing to see here. I am not holding my 1894 Winchester in .30 WCF. I am not in Mojave north of Backus off 30th west just one mile from my house.

This is not what this thread is all about so don't look.

Thank you. That 38-55 has won me a lot of silhouette matches, and has done me proud in both state and national competitions.
