Thanks guys! Its traditional to try and tie in a colts pedigree some in his name. His sire is Call Me Mitch and well, Son of a Mitch was already taken. If you are a Yellowstone fan, ya've seen his grandpa Metallic Cat. If it was a filly we were thinking of One Tough Mitch or Mitch Better Have My Money. But Mitchy The Kid it is. Now ya have to go watch City Slickers again.

@golfish Man what a beaut! The sunlight really did bring out the colors. Muela?

I am, but help me place Metallic Cat. Whose horse is he? Dutton's? or Smiley's.

We know that Travis is selling some great stock to Dutton. And how about the portrayal of Jimmy's transformation? That was nicely done over those few episodes...

I don’t know what episode but I was shown the clip by a friend where Metallic Cat is working cattle in an indoor arena. And then lately they showed him at some show where they were talking about him but he was standing in the arena on a halter. He’s too valuable to be in it day to day. Metallic Cat’s kids are what made him so special. Not only is he a world champion his ownself but simply the highest earning sire of all time, period, meaning how many $ his get (kids) have won. $40,000,000 plus and counting daily. Call Me Mitch, in the working cowhorse world is his highest earner. Mitch himself is a three time Reserve World Campion in the Worlds Greatest Horseman. We watched him at this show in Ft Worth a few weekends ago as they live streamed it. He only missed the World Championship by 3 points!

We’ve only watched the first three episodes of season one of Yellowstone. Then Nichole famously said:”I’m tired of seeing Beth’s tits, I wanna see Rip’s ***!”, and well we’ve never watched anymore episodes. Have seen the Biker Brawl clip. Rip driving into the motorcycles and then laying waste with the branding iron was an obvious homage to Capt Call sliding the Hellbitch into the badguy and then laying waste with said branding iron, in Lonesome Dove.

Gotcha. Yes, there are some amazing animals on camera, and it's a glimpse into another world; the pro cowboy'in world. This missing a World Championship by 3 points sounds justifiably dramatic!

Hahaha! Nichole! Too funny. There are as the seasons progress less shown of Beth's ho0ters. This makes Apples sad. Just kidding. There's more to the story than Beth, her tits and her tour d'force swearing. ...I think, right?

I have saved my second viewing of Lonesome Dove for the near future. I'll pay closer attention to stuff that Sheridan may have borrowed. I have the first three Seasons of Yellowstone on DVD if Nichole ever changes her mind and you guys want to catch up to Season Four. You two would be amused at the boxed set's packaging: it includes some thin carboard version of your awesome Yellowstone coasters. No kidding!

Do you remember what episode it was I'd like to see it again? In the horse world your wording is funny! The name Impressive is taken too! I use to have a stallion named Top Impressability, a grandson of Impressive. But I know what ya mean Metallic Cat can flat work a cow for dang sure!

Thats cool Chris ya have to send me a pic I'd like to see them. That was part of the deal they could use them however they wished and we could too, vice a versa. We did promise we wouldn't make anymore for sale through other outlets besides themselves but we can use them for any other purposes.

Yeah I don’t know much about horses. But I recognize athletic ability.

I want to say the episode was around mid season 3. The skinny dude, Jamie?, went to a big rodeo and got broken in that one I believe.

I’ll try to find it later.

                        Thanks, that would be cool!

Yep different horse families get known for different things. The Impressives were to halter horses what the Metallic Cats are to cow horses. Halter horses just have to stand there and look good, no ability needed. Just big, bold and beautiful.
